This two-story commercial building exhibits the Taisho Roman style, blending Western Colonial influences with Japanese commercial vernacular architecture. The facade features white plastered walls, a second-floor wraparound balcony with turned wooden balusters, and multi-pane sash windows framed in dark wood. The ground floor retains traditional Japanese noren curtains and an open shopfront typical of Kyoto machiya-influenced merchant buildings.
